Our vacation changed while we were on it and we ended up with an extra day before we were due at the Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip.  So, we decided to stay at this hotel since we wanted to visit Red Rock Canyon, which is a short drive away.  We should note that the price included two dinner buffet tickets and two movie tickets, so this was a good deal.

We almost feel we should review the room separately from the hotel/casino public areas, since our opinion of them differed.  So, the room itself was very nice.  We had a basic room but it was a nice size, very new looking.  Decorated in a simple luxurious modern style.  The bathroom was all marble with a large soaking tub and dual vanities.  The view was just okay; you basically have a choice between Red Rock Canyon (which we believe costs a little more) or the Strip in the distance, which is the view we had.  It was interesting to see the Strip from afar, but the area between the hotel and the Strip was not pleasant to see.

The casino itself was kind of blah.  It wasn’t particularly large and had no real identity.  We ate at the buffet, as it was included with our rate, but we thought it was terrible.  The pool area looked nice but we did not visit it.  Arriving at the hotel, it was very difficult to figure out where to go.  There are signs for valet parking at the hotel, but no way to tell where to self park for it (It’s just general casino parking).  We parked in one area and ended up going back to the car and driving around to a garage that we thought was closer to the actual hotel.  It was, but then we could not figure out where the check-in area was.  It was very frustrating, especially after a long drive from Sedona, Arizona.

Would We Stay Here Again? Yes, if we didn’t want to be on the strip and did not care about the casino.
