We didn’t have a whole lot of time to find a place to stay for our trip as we were leaving in less than a month. This apartment was actually “on sale” for our time period; it usually goes for $286 per night. The apartment is a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom with double bed. Plenty of space for two people, although there is a pull out couch in the living room for up to two more people. It is not quite as nice looking as the photos on the website would suggest. Everything looks the same, it’s just a little worn. Still nice enough though, just not luxurious or anything.
The bathroom had carpeting, which we found odd, and the toilet was extremely difficult to flush properly. The kitchen was nicely sized and had all the major appliances. There is a washer and dryer, although we did not try them out. In the living room there are two couches, a coffee table, and a side table/desk. No dining table, although that did not bother us. The television was small and only had a few channels. For those with computers, the apartment does have wifi.
This apartment is located in the Covent Garden area of London, close to theaters, restaurants and pubs. It is not a quiet area at night; a lot of activity goes on, but the noise in the apartment is relatively low. It’s in a small modern apartment building on the third floor. The Leicester Square tube stop was about a block away. A very central apartment, we were able to walk all over the city (although we are walkers).
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location more than made up for any shortcomings in the apartment itself.
Would We Stay Here Again? Maybe, we did like the location.
