Finding a nice hotel during high season that fit our €100 budget was a little difficult in expensive Venice.  The Locanda Fiorita is a small hotel located in the San Marco area about a 10 minute walk from the Piazza San Marco.  To stay within budget our room had an external bathroom down the hall, but we were the only ones using it so that wasn’t really a problem.  The room was worn looking, there was a faint sewer smell, and the bed was fairly uncomfortable.  On the plus side, the hotel served a nice continental breakfast on the front patio with the best cappuccinos we had on the whole trip.  The location was also good, a central location on a not too busy street.

Would We Stay Here Again? No.
