This beautiful inn is located about a 10-15 drive south of the main drag of Sedona. We preferred being away from the touristy area, which we found a bit tacky. However, others may prefer walking outside their hotel and being in the midst of everything.
The place is really a grouping of buildings, with 2-4 suites in each building. All the rooms in the inn are 2-room suites with fireplaces, a small kitchen area, and a large bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. The rooms are comfortably furnished and the bed is very nice. Some rooms have red rock views. Homemade snacks/cookies are placed in the room each afternoon.
Three-course gourmet breakfasts were hands-down some of the best breakfasts we ever had, and served in a lovely separate building . We’re not used to eating so much at breakfast, but it was good start for the activities of the day.
The staff was very personable and helpful with hiking recommendations and local info. We should mention there is no pool, which might matter to some people looking for respite from the heat.
