Weszt was in the city of Zaragoza, Spain for business.  When Kelley flew in to Barcelona they stayed at this hotel for the weekend, which was booked and paid for by the company.

So we didn’t pay for this hotel, which in a way makes it harder to review; when it’s not your money being spent it’s hard to be too picky. And, we don’t know how much our room cost per night, which makes value hard to determine.  We did not hate this place.   However, we can say if we had picked this hotel for a vacation in Barcelona we would have been disappointed.

The location was okay; kind of away from most tourist spots but located at Placa d’Espanya and a metro station was just around the corner.  The hotel has a boutique-y feel, but it’s only so-so quality wise.  Things are a bit worn.  The carpets in the hallway had stains on them and overall the hotel just seemed kind of blah.

The room itself was a decent size though oddly shaped.  Wood floors, simple modern decor.  Bed was passable.  The lights for the room were a pain to figure out, particularly the bathroom lights.  Even when we figured out how to turn them on, the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, and the bathroom door didn’t really close fully.

Breakfast was a buffet and and had a good variety of hot and cold dishes.  Pretty tasty.  Apparently there is also a rooftop pool, but we did not use it.

Would We Stay Here Again: No, we would prefer to stay in another location
